Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Anemones, Maeda Ikutokukai collection

We will introduce modern works of art from the collection of MAEDA Toshinari, the 16th head and marquis of the MAEDA clan. The relationship between Meguro and the MAEDA family dates back to the early Showa period, when the family moved residence to Komaba, Meguro-ku. Based on this, Meguro and Kanazawa concluded the friendship city agreement in 2017. With the cooperation of Maeda Ikutokukai, the exhibition will present a part of their precious collection, including works unveiled for the first time in Tokyo.
