For visitors with disabilities

Admission fees

Admission to exhibitions held at the main building is free to those with disabilities and one attendant. Please show your identification at the reception when entering the Museum. 

Use and loan of wheelchairs

You can use a wheelchair when moving around all the floors of the Museum. Wheelchairs are available at the reception desks of the main building and of the Citizens Gallery. Please ask at the reception desk when you wish to use one. 

Multipurpose restrooms

These are available in the main building (1st Floor) and in the Citizens Gallery (basement).

Assistance dogs

You may enter the Museum with an assistance dog (guide dog, hearing dog, service dog).

Car park

Use of the Meguro Citizens Center car park, which adjoins the Meguro Museum of Art, Tokyo, is free. Please show your identification booklet at the reception desk of the main building. Meguro Museum of Art, Tokyo does not have its own car park. 

For visitors with children

Use and loan of strollers

You can use a stroller when moving around all the floors of the Museum. Strollers are available in the Museum. Please ask at the reception desk when you wish to use one. 

Baby corner

A baby corner, equipped with cribs and chairs, is available in the main building (1st Floor).

Wireless LAN (Wi-Fi)

Free wireless Internet access (MEGURO Free Wi-Fi) is available in the main building. Wi-Fi content introducing the Meguro Museum of Art, Tokyo, can also be viewed. 

Tips for visiting

Notice to Visitors

  • Please use only pencils in the galleries. Pencils are available free of charge. Please ask our staff. 
  • Mobile phones may not be used in the galleries.(If you'd like to use automatic translation application ※ on mobile phones, please let our staff know.)
    ※ Google translation, iTranslate
    You can use them at the "Lounge” area. (First Floor)
  • Photography and videography are not permitted in the galleries.
  • Umbrellas may not be brought into the building.Please make use of the umbrella stands.
  • Please leave bulky baggage(suitcases, backpacks)at the reception.
  • Please do not bring any pets into the building except assistance dogs.
  • Food, drinks are not allowed in the galleries.You can eat or drink at the "Lounge" area. (First Floor)
  • Smoking is not permitted in the building.
  • Please refrain from actions that may disturb the viewing quality of other visitors within Museum compound. We hope to provide quality time for everyone, whether you are looking for excitement or relaxation.
  • Please follow the staff guidance in the building.
