Since its formation in 2018, the “Joint Project by the Tokyo City Museum Network” has been actively working together among 11 participating museums. As this year 2022 is the year of “tiger”, we have decided to hold the exhibition featuring “Cats of Tokyo” from the collections of 10 museums at our Museum, Meguro Museum of Art, Tokyo. The works will be presented not only as cute cats, but also as the charming motif of depicting delicate furs and supple body lines of cats in different ways of expression. Please enjoy the cats expressed in various ways that each museum is proud to present.
