Meguro Museum of Art, Tokyo has built a unique collection since its beginning by featuring the works by artists who studied abroad and who achieved international successes. In the long history of the museum, the tendency of the collection has gradually changed along with the development of the museum activities. We would like to introduce how works are collected in the first place at the museum together with the history of the formation of collection.
