SUGIMOTO Takashi (1945~2018), the interior designer, who presented his innovative expression in commercial spaces, started SUPER POTATO CO.LTD. in 1973, introducing novel spaces that focus on the phenomenon of light and the hidden power of materials used one after the other. Here at MMAT, where we have the lounge that was designed by SUPER POTATO, we will exhibit various materials including partially reproduced spaces, photos and design drawings to understand his design philosophy.
